 JAKIN

On the first of October 2003 the official start of the Jakin project took place in Bilbao, Spain. The main objective of the project is to contribute to the generation and improvement of intellectual asset in companies, from different economical sectors, by means of the designing, elaboration and experimental application of a tool that allows evaluating training (formal and non-formal) impact.

The expected results are the following:

  • The analysis of the situation of the knowledge management at the enterprises through the analysis of the characteristics of the intelectual capital at the companies, their experiences at the knowledge's management and the characteristics of the management of Training.
  • The design and experimental application of an evaluative tool that allows to evaluate the Training taught at the enterprises, measuring qualitative and quantitative indicators.
  • To raise the awareness of the managers at the enterprises about the importance of Intellectual Capital for the development and competitiveness of the companies at the European and international markets.
  • The dissemination of results and of the evaluation's tool among public and private organisations interested in Training at the enterprises.
  • The promotion of the multiplying effect in the European Union and the East states.
CEBEK and INVESLAN in Spain, TÜV in Germany, University of Trakia in Bulgaria, Academy of Humanities and Economics in Poland and Huesken & de Pree Consultancy in The Netherlands will execute this Leonardo project, funded by the EU.

 CSR/SME

Aims

The aim of this project is to promote the debate about corporate responsibility and to train and teach how to implement good working practices inside SME's under the social responsibility ground.

The project specific aims are:

  • Increasing knowledge about the positive impact of CSR on business and society
  • Developing the exchange of experience and good practice on CSR between enterprises abroad countries
  • Promoting the development of CSR management skills
  • Fostering CSR among SME’s
  • Facilitating convergence and transparency of CSR practices and tools
